Bohnenberger appointed as honorary advisor
The managing director of the Bangkok-based Six Senses Resorts & Spas group, Bernhard Bohnenberger, has been appointed as an honorary advisor to the President of the Senate of Thailand.
Bohnenberger is the first non-national to be appointed in such a role. He has become a member of a panel, who may be called upon to advise the President of the Senate, Professor Prasobsook Boondech, on matters relating to high-end tourism, which is the main focus for the country’s inbound visitors.
Bohnenberger has been a resident of Thailand for more than 17 years and has been a guiding force within the Six Senses group since its inception. Since it launched, Six Senses has become a major employer within Thailand’s tourism sector. Details: sixsenses.com
