New weights facility opens at Harry Mitchell centre

Sandwell Leisure Trust has completed a £70,000 investment in the strength training facility at the Harry Mitchell Leisure Centre in Smethwick.
The facility has been kitted out with Hammer Strength equipment.
Paul Badhams, gym development officer for the sports trust, said: "This has been an exciting development and has received positive feedback from our regular customers.
“We are proud to host the largest Hammer Strength facility in Central England and will hopefully attract new customers from further afield as well as within the local community.
"While the weights gym has was being refurbished we set up a temporary gym in the sports hall. Our regular customers have remained loyal and we are certain the wait has been worthwhile for them to benefit from such a fantastic facility."
