Venueserve, a global tech company, was established in 2019 and has a well-established reputation within the ticketing and sports membership sector. Venueserve Fitness followed in 2020.
Venueserve Fitness is an easy-to-use, low-cost web- and mobile web-based online exercise platform, already being used by around 50 health clubs across the UK and 20 around the world. Set up takes just a few hours and includes 70+ pre-recorded sessions so operators can kickstart their virtual club immediately, all branded as their own. Its built-in dashboard gathers valuable membership data and insight, not available via Facebook Live or Zoom, whilst the backend reporting and payment system means Personal Trainers or instructors, such as yoga teachers, can use the subscribe, data capture function as their own membership system.

Clubs can live-stream their own expert instructors; the heart and soul of any facility, delivering the classes their members know and love, ensuring content feels authentic and recognisable, and helping with customer engagement by giving members the same positive experience they have in-club, but online. Your club can be accessed anywhere and anytime.
Live-streaming is unlimited and each session is saved to the club’s own branded platform and categorised so it can be played again and again. Instructors simply live-stream to Venueserve Fitness’s servers and, from there, the content is sent to the club’s own branded streaming site, which is skinned to match their website.
The virtual membership can be offered as a free, ‘nice to have’ for existing members, up sold as an additional bolt on virtual membership or sold completely separately as a subscription-based online membership package for people who aren’t ready to visit a gym yet.

case study: The Marlow Club

Luxury health and wellbeing venue, the Marlow Club, delivers 250 classes a week for its loyal community. COO, Jon Williams, reached out to Venueserve Fitness in March; he needed an online offering for his 3,000 members that looked and felt like the club’s own.
“It’s important our members have a positive experience, every time they visit. When we switched to online during the first lockdown, this same positive experience needed to happen virtually; it had to look and feel like the Marlow Club,” says Williams.
“Members had the choice to stick with us, freeze or to leave. Those who continued gained access to our virtual membership. I was humbled that 1,700 members continued to pay their membership; it was valuable income.

“Covid restrictions mean classes run at 50% capacity. When members can’t physically get into a class they can still participate. The instructor simply turns on the camera and streams through an iPad. It’s so simple and flexible. The platform is also secure. I have a duty of care to my staff and instructors. I don’t want them to feel vulnerable online; and Venueserve Fitness gives me that confidence and peace of mind.”
The Marlow Club now sells virtual-only memberships too, and already has 100 exclusively online members.
He concludes: “You want to work out on holiday – no problem. You want to join in your favourite HIIT session at midnight – no problem. The Marlow Club now operates 24 hours a day – globally!”

The Pavilion Club, an exclusive health, leisure and racket club near Hampton Court, reached out to Venueserve Fitness to bring its services to live online when lockdown was initiated back in March.
Managing Director, Richard Thorpe, says: “I consulted with other operators about how we could provide an essential service whilst our doors were closed and was recommended Venueserve Fitness.

The Health Club Collection is a group of boutique health clubs operating in and around London. Each has its own unique brand and client base, but all have benefited from using the white-label digital workout platform provided by Venueserve Fitness.

Plans for the next 12 months
We have lots just about to launch and in the pipeline too, including an e-commerce shop, so members can buy equipment to complement the online training.
We are also integrating with a number of wearables and training accessories ahead of the new year.
Our new two-way coaching platform (launching December 2020) means clubs don’t have to leave the Venueserve Fitness system for live one-to-one coaching.
We are now able to integrate with third-party membership platforms and CRM systems too.
