Myzone
It’s time to give more people more ways to move. Myzone is an innovative heart rate monitor and community engagement tool to track physical activity and calories burned both accurately and in real time. In-club, outdoors and in water; reward effort and create inclusive communities, with an immersive fitness experience that makes physical activity fun and gives your people results they can see, based on World Health Organization guidelines for physical activity. Stay connected, organise challenges and create your own community, no matter where your members want to move.
Background
As the fitness industry evolves and grows, Myzone exists to partner with gyms, studios, leisure centres, PTs, and sports teams, rewarding effort instead of ability alone. Encouraging motivation and inclusivity, together we get more people moving and feeling good about themselves through exercise and engaging experiences of physical activity.

Testimonial
“If you want your members to get results, you need a monitoring system like Myzone. Myzone has better functionality, and it motivates people to increase the effort they put into their workouts, so we recommend that our members use Myzone for each training session. Currently, approximately 50% of our members are actively using the Myzone belt.”
– Henrik Gockel, founder and managing director, PRIME TIME Fitness.

With such a strong community of support, Myzone is perfectly positioned to provide everyone involved with NFG the digital tools that offer essential, reliable data while also building the excitement of the event itself through live heart rate displays on the big screen.
“We are really excited to announce the collaboration with Myzone to assist with our NFG event delivery,” explains Mark Morgan NFG Co-Founder. “This will bring together a group of like-minded athletes in both the Myzone and NFG communities.

Gym members to set world-first 40-hour workout for a mental health charity.
Gym members to set world-first 40-hour workout for a mental health charity.
In a world record attempt, members of London gym, Manor, are set to work out for 40 hours on the longest day in aid of mental health charity Rock2Recovery, with Myzone tracking their every move.
12 members from Manor gym have decided to set a new world record, and lock themselves in a basement gym over the longest day of the year to raise £40,000 and awareness for mental health.
The attempt, accepted by the Guinness Book of World Records, will take place from 6am on the 21st June to 10pm on the 22nd June 2022. The team of 12 will be locked in a basement gym with no sunlight on the longest day of the year completing 40 hour-long workouts.
“We wanted to raise money and awareness for this great cause,” explains ex-veteran Gareth Ship, who is leading this attempt. “I know first-hand the difficulties mental health can have on veterans and their families, and I hope our effort can play a small part in helping to change the lives of those.”
The team members are working hard to prepare for the event, raise money and work out how to prepare for no sleep while working full time in their respective jobs. The team consists of:
Rhys White
Gareth Ship
Lucy Bills
Mimi Gardener
Irma Beruckaite
Callum Hogarth
Ollie Medwin
Lauren Sullivan
Charly Eggleston
Ed Straker
David Bowers
Alex Simpson
“We’re so proud and excited to support such an incredible event for such a worthy cause,” explains David Stalker, CEO of Myzone EMEA. “Myzone is all about effort, and the amount that this team will be putting in over the course of the World Record breaking workout session is deserving of every penny donated for Rock2Recovery.”

Myzone set for fitness space growth in Spain and Portugal
Myzone set for fitness space growth in Spain and Portugal
Continuing on the path of further growth into Europe for fitness professionals, Myzone is excited to welcome Guillermo Aldasoro to the team as the new regional manager for Spain and Portugal.
For the last 15 years Guillermo has been the CEO of Red Wellness, a company that distributes Escape Fitness and Myzone equipment in the Iberian Peninsula. His previous training and education includes a Degree of Science in Physical Activity and Sport and a Masters in Sport Management.
“It’s an important time for Myzone as we expand further into EMEA, and it’s vital that we continue to work with driven, passionate and experienced people to accelerate our growth and provide more tools for operators to build their communities,” explains David Stalker, CEO of Myzone EMEA.
“Guillermo not only knows the fitness industry inside out, but he’s a solutions-orientated professional who understands the true value of education within the physical activity sector. He brings a wealth of experience to the team and I’m excited to welcome him on board.”
Throughout his career in the fitness industry, Guillermo’s goal has always been to help clients improve the service they provide to their users by increasing standards of safety in training, being more precise, generating interactions and offering an immediate reward system that makes exercise habits stick.
With MEPs at the core of his new position with Myzone, he’s bringing valuable experience to the team so that he can continue to encourage healthy sports practice and get more people moving.
“From my first contact with Myzone, I identified the system as an indispensable tool to complement functional training zones at that time,” explains Guillermo.
“Myzone perfectly reflects the trends of our sector, as it’s increasingly technological, more personalised, while offering immediate information, social interactions, games, prizes, and challenges. All this and more is within the Myzone universe and I’m excited to be a part of it.”

Farm Fitness picks Myzone to help develop their effort-focused outdoor fitness concept
Farm Fitness picks Myzone to help develop their effort-focused outdoor fitness concept
Myzone is kicking off a new partnership with Farm Fitness as its official heart rate monitor partner for its outdoor and soon-to-open indoor training facility.
Myzone will use its heart rate zone technology to create a fair playing field for all members of the Farm Fitness community to compete. With a diverse audience of aged seven years old to over 60, the importance of rewarding effort and not ability is key to Farm Fitness’ inclusive community atmosphere.
“We’re excited to see the adoption of Myzone by Farm Fitness to help continue growing and engaging its community,” explains David Stalker, CEO Myzone EMEA. “Knowing their team’s resolution to keep members motivated and to provide the greatest sense of community possible, this new partnership with Myzone creates an idyllic addition to this unique fitness site.”
Installing a large screen within the facilities will allow all Farm Fitness members to recognise, in real time, the effort that they’re putting in, both indoors and out. While also allowing founder Tom and his team to empathise with each member during their workout and embracing the community’s competitive side by gamifying their workout experience.
“We have chosen to incorporate Myzone into Farm Fitness to further allow us to engage with our members both in, and out of our classes,” added Tom Kemp, Farm Fitness founder. “Community is at the heart of our ethos, and we believe that through the introduction of Myzone, we can enhance the team comradery experienced by our members, visitors and annual competitors.”
To celebrate the set-up of Myzone within the facility, Myzone trainer Billy Burchett will host an exclusive Farm Fitness Cardio Club at the outdoor site at 8:30am on 5th March. All Myzone members will be able to join Billy and the Farm Fitness community via the Myzone app.
Following this event there is going to be a competitive three-part fitness series ‘Functional vs Obstacle, powered by Myzone’. Farm Fitness and its functional fitness community will go head-to-head with Rumble’s obstacle course racing team, in three unique challenges that will push both teams to their competitive limits.
