Technogym launches new app for Unity console
A new app for Technogym’s Unity console for cardio equipment allows users to replicate their favourite outdoor run on the treadmill and challenge their past performance.
MyRunning Logbook works by monitoring a user’s position on the map and comparing their pace with the outdoor performance tracked by compatible mobile apps such as Runkeeper, Mapmyfitness, Stava, or tracking devices like FitBit and Polar.
Unity is an Android 4 based console available on both the Artis and Excite ranges. It is open platform and allows end users to log in and find their own apps, social networks, personal training programmes, games, training data track record, music, TV channels and so on.
With over 2,000 employees across 14 branches, Technogym is present in over 100 countries. More than 65,000 wellness centres are equipped with Technogym and 35 million users train every day on Technogym equipment. Technogym was the official supplier for the past seven Olympic Games, from Sydney 2000 to PyeongChang 2018.
