Jordan Fitness sales shake-up sees Zak Pitt named MD
Zak Pitt has been announced as the new managing director of Jordan Fitness, taking over from founder Neil Jordan, who will remain as company chair.
Pitt assumes the top job after eight years as sales director, during which he oversaw sales growth of 500 per cent. Neil Jordan said that the new structure would enable him to focus on his “true passion” of product innovation.
Pitt’s former role will be split, meaning Jordan Fitness will, for the first time, focus on managing direct and trade sales separately. Dedicated to direct will be Paul Ferreira, who has been appointed head of UK direct sales, while Scott Lamber will concentrate on trade as global trade sales manager.
Paul Ferreira was formerly international sales performance manager at Escape Fitness and has 14 years’ fitness industry experience.
Lamber, meanwhile, joins Jordan Fitness from Creative Fitness Marketing, where he helped develop many different gym membership “Member Drive” campaigns across the UK.
“My appointment, along with those of Scott and Paul, show that as a company we want to ensure we stay at the forefront of an ever-changing industry,” Pitt told Health Club Management.
“We have a young, albeit very experienced team here, who bring their own forward thinking ideas and philosophies, which can only help to cement our place as one of the fastest growing and dynamic brands in the industry.”
