Derby continues to transform its sport and leisure facilities with the second phase of the Leisure Facility Strategy being progressed. This is the delivery of the exciting new swimming pool complex at Moorways which is being designed and is scheduled to open in 2021.

We are seeking an experienced leisure professional who has exceptional business acumen, excellent leadership, interpersonal skills and a flair for success to manage Queen’s Leisure Centre.

As Centre Manager you will be accountable for all aspects of the operation and must have recent swimming pool management and operational experience at a management level. You will have good understanding of swimming development; in particular learn to swim, as well as a track record of developing and delivering on plans and achieving targets.

You will require excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively with other facility managers and our marketing and sales teams as well as interacting at all levels of the organisation.

We’re looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about delivering a high performing, customer focused facility, and is someone who is self-motivated, enthusiastic, proactive and flexible with an interest and experience in the leisure sector.
