Kettering Borough Council is offering the opportunity for an experienced ice rink provider to make use of their newly developed and award winning market place over Christmas Kettering
The Kettering Christmas Light Switch on will be held on
27th November and the Council is proposing that the ice
rink is central to the celebrations over the days that follow.
The market place has been used for a number of high
profile events over the past year. These have included
the massively successful and televised Halfords Tour
Series, the Sport Relief Mile and the more recent summer
celebrations, all of which saw thousands of people visit
Kettering’s town centre to take part.
There are a number of options available for the provision
of the ice rink but we would especially like to hear from
providers who would supply the ice rink free of charge and
keep the income from the skaters.
If you would like to receive a site plan, more
information on the opportunity or to arrange
a visit please contact Michael Cowland on
michaelcowland@kettering.gov.uk or 01536 534266
by midday on Monday 16th August 2010.
