George Clooney to star in new Martini ad
29 Oct 2004 . BY
Martini vermouth has teamed up with Hollywood star George Clooney for its new tv ad campaign.

To be launched at the end of November and scheduled to run for five weeks, this is the first time that Clooney has appeared in any UK advertising. He is not on his own either, as the ad also features his British girlfriend, Lisa Snowdon.

Entitled ‘Wishes’, the ad shows Clooney arriving at a party with a bottle of Martini. Snowdon opens the door, expresses delight at seeing him but just takes the bottle and closes the door again.

The ad closes with the strapline, ‘What would you wish for?’, and will show on ITV, Channel 4 and 5, and satellite channels including E4 and Sky One.
